e-Textiles and Wearable Technology

This course will integrate electronic technologies for signals and light, programming of computer embroidery machines, and explore new textile manufacturing technologies. The class is grounded in project-based learning, combined with reading and discussion of research papers. We will create and exhibit wearable and/or portable eTextile items as final projects.
