Data Management for Data Science

This course is an advanced course for understanding the importance of data quality (with an exposure of typical data quality topics such as missing values, outliers, (near-) duplicates and entity resolution) for different data science tasks (e.g., analytical queries, visualizations, and machine learning), and solving them using rule-based methods, machine learning based, deep learning based, and foundation model based methods. It will also introduce methods to improve machine/deep learning model performance throughout its life cycle.
